Gotham FC Grabs First Win of 2025 Season

Gotham FC picked up its first win of the season on Sunday, beating the North Carolina Courage 3-1.

Forward Esther González scored twice in the first half, with goals in the 43rd and 45th minutes. Defender Lilly Reale added a third just after the break—her first pro goal.

The match also saw season debuts for forwards Midge Purce and Geyse. Purce returned for the first time since a knee injury in early 2024.

Now 1-1-2, Gotham sits tied for fifth in the league standings.
