New Health Annex to Expand Services in Kearny

A new 1,500-square-foot Health Annex is coming to Kearny, offering expanded access to essential community health services. The project is fully funded through over $1 million in federal Community Development Block Grants, administered by Hudson County in partnership with the Town of Kearny.
The facility will replace the former trailer and provide space for key supplemental services, including testing and inoculations, food distribution, and health and wellness seminars.
“Another exciting moment in the Town of Kearny,” said Mayor Carol Jean Doyle. “I want to thank County Executive Craig Guy and Hudson County Community Cares funds. This is the new health annex that’s located on Belgrove Drive and we’re so excited that it’s going to be a service not only for the residents of the First Ward but also the entire town.”
The mayor added that staff are now selecting signage and finishing interior work, with a ribbon-cutting expected by the end of November.
