St. Peter’s Prep Makes Hudson County History With Third Straight Title

St. Peter’s Prep defeated Harrison High School 2–0 on October 28 to win the 2025 Hudson County Tournament final, becoming the first boys’ soccer team to win three consecutive titles since the tournament expanded in 2009.

The match took place at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison. Anthony Bautista scored in the seventh minute to give St. Peter’s an early lead. In the second half, Nick Lutzky added a second goal to secure the win.

Harrison entered the match averaging nearly five goals per game but was held scoreless. St. Peter’s Prep finished the season with a 16-2-1 record.
