STEVENS

Stevens Institute of Technology continues to play a central role in supplying skilled graduates to the New York City metro area, with most recent alumni securing jobs or continuing their education shortly after graduation.

According to the university’s latest career outcomes report, 71% of employed graduates from the Class of 2024 found work in the region, including in Hudson County. Nearly 97% of respondents had either secured full-time employment or enrolled in graduate programs within six months of earning their degrees.

Graduates have gone on to work at major employers such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Lockheed Martin, Amazon, and Google—firms with a significant presence in the metro area’s finance, engineering, and tech sectors.

The majority of graduates reported hybrid or in-person work arrangements, with only a small portion working fully remote.

Stevens Institute of Technology, founded in 1870, is Hudson County’s oldest higher education institution.
